ADDITIVE’s Engagement for the dormizil in Bolzano at the Start of the Year
The dormizil in Bolzano provides homeless individuals with a warm place to stay overnight. It is estimated that more than 100 people spend the winter on the streets - just in Bolzano, South Tyrol alone.
Instead of making a monetary donation, the ADDITIVE team actively contributed its time and took turns managing the breakfast service at the dormizil on several days in February. Beyond the operational aspect, this initiative also fostered conversations and moments of encounter.
The breakfast service, along with the night shifts, is carried out in rotation by a group of volunteers. The dormizil is run by the “dormizil EO” association and is currently working on establishing another facility that will provide long-term housing for those in need.
